My Most Favorite Recipe… or one of them…

Many people have asked me how I make my chocolate chip cookies. Well, here is the recipe.

Gooey Chocolate Chip Cookies

What you need:

  • 2 1/4 c. all purpose flour
  • 1 tsp of baking soda
  • 2 sticks of salted butter
  • 3/4 c. of firmly packed light brown sugar
  • 1/4 c. of sugar
  • 1 small package of instant french vanilla pudding
  • 2 eggs
  • a dash of vanilla
  • 2 bags of large milk chocolate chips

Directions:

  1. Turn oven on Bake at 375 degrees.
  2. Mix in a small bowl with a spoon flour and baking soda. Set to the side.
  3. Soften butter and put in mixing bowl.
  4. In a mixer, add both brown sugar and sugar with butter. Mix well.
  5. After well mixed, add package of pudding and mix well.
  6. Add 1 egg. Mix well. Then add second egg. Mix well. (do not add both eggs at the same time.)
  7. Add vanilla.
  8. After everything else is mixed together, add chocolate chips. (I normally use large Ghirardelli milk chocolate chips.)
  9. Place cookies on a cookie sheet and bake for 8-10 minutes. Make sure you spray the pan.

Cookies are best when you take them out of the oven while they are still a little gooey. I usually leave them on the pan for 1 to 2 minutes right after I take them out of the oven. After I take them off the pan, I lay paper towels on the counter and place the still hot cookies on paper towel. These are absolutely delicious hot, warm, and cold. πŸ™‚
