The “Spy” who Hacked my Computer

Most everyone has had a blonde moment here or there…I feel though that I have had my fair share of blonde moments plus more. Since I started working at my current job, I feel that I have had more blonde moments. Of course, some are really small; but in my mind, I think, “how stupid are you, Stephanie?” Then I laugh out loud at myself, because there is nothing else I can do. For instance, a few days ago, I was having computer problems with the main app that we use in the office. Now, a side note, I watch my fair share of spy/police/criminal shows. Usually that’s what I’m watching when I watch TV. So my mind always goes to those shows when something happens. Anyways, I was on my computer, and all the sudden, my computer started acting up…my emails suddenly started scrolling down…my notes started typing things out……. and I thought to myself, “Oh no!!!!! CRIMINALS HAVE HACKED INTO MY COMPUTER!!!!” Is this rational? No, no it isn’t… but it is what I thought…So, naturally, I closed out of everything that I had pulled up on my computer and shut it down. This actually takes a while because it’s a secure computer…Then I thought, “Maybe I should unplug my computer.” But I nixed that thought, because frankly, I have no idea what to unplug. As I was freaking out internally and a little externally, I looked down at my desk; and, there, laying on my keyboard,  was a notebook. Yes, a notebook was the “criminal” who “hacked” my computer.
